Growing to Love Our Ghosts: Writing the Spectral, Liminal, and Unresolved

from $125.00

Focusing on life-based writing, we’ll explore work that exists in between genres, exploring the “haunting narratives” of our lives, in both mystical/spiritual and figurative/psychological senses.

In this two-session Halloween-inflected Zoom workshop, we’ll read and write “hybrid form” works. Forms may include prose poem, flash memoir, speculative nonfiction, poetic memoir, and writing that incorporates found documents and images.

These sessions can be taken together or separately. No refunds for missed sessions, but I will record them for those who can’t make it.

Session 1// Sat. October 4th, 1-3:30PM Eastern. That Which Tugs at You: Delicious Hauntings and Lyrical Prose

Session 2// Sat. October 11th, 1-3:30PM Eastern. Unfinished Business: Reframing Unresolved Narratives through Hybrid Forms

Single session: $125 [$100 for paid subscribers to Muse Substack]

Both sessions: $200 [$160 for paid subscribers]

Paid subscribers to the Muse Substack are eligible for a discount. Message me for the discount code.

Three scholarship spots are available. If you’d like to attend but it presents a financial challenge, contact me and I’ll add you to the course list.
