We will meet on Zoom for a workshop on prose poems/lyric flash nonfiction and defamiliarization! We will discuss models for poems or mini-essays that estrange the familiar narratives, helping us look at our culture, history, and ourselves with fresh eyes, and I will provide timed writing exercises. It will be a fun, supportive, strange space to look at our stories anew.
